The third in a series of presentations on local energy, organized by Guilford Solar/Guilford Energy Resources, will be held on Saturday, Mar. 13, at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Library. This event will focus on the uses of solar energy in a "local energy" context. First, Phil Strouth, of FLS Energy, will discuss the uses of solar energy in the production of domestic hot water and electricity. Next, Otto Afanador, a long-time member of Guilford Solar, will discuss the uses of solar energy for space heating and cooling. The program will begin earlier than usual, at 9:30 AM.
